Our new prep for 2018, Lola had her orientation day this week. She had a great time with her sister and new friends at school. We also had our school photos taken including one at Sovereign Hill.

As our final major excursion for 2017, we visited Sovereign Hill for the day. We dressed up, panned for gold and watched a gold pour.

Glen Park is now totally free of all asbestos (We even had our school safe removed because it had asbestos in it!) we have also had a ramp built and repairs completed on our shelter shed. .

Its been a long winter but hopefully spring has now arrived. Our bulbs are out and hopefully we can get into our kitchen garden and start enjoying our revamped playground. Glen Park looks great in spring.

We have just finished building a new addition to our playground equipment. Our old fort was sadly too difficult to maintain, so we built a new one to replace it. We will add pieces onto it over the next few years including a shop front, climbing wall and maybe another slide.

We just wrapped up our 10 week one hour swimming lessons at the Ballarat YMCA. Our students made great progress over the course of their lessons. We were lucky to have an excellent instructor and terrific facilities. The great thing about our lessons was that the kids weren’t standing around like larger groups around us…
