We had the Begonia Festival in Ballarat last weekend.We thought we’d avoid the crowds and because we are currently reading The Secret Garden, we went to the Ballarat Botanical Gardens. This year we decided to only grow plants in our kitchen garden that we want to eat. After a short survey we determined that we should plant strawberries and potatoes. We planted our strawberries this week and our potatoes in August/September.
