Sturt Street ramble

We picked a rare sunny day to go for a walk down Sturt St and to sketch and photograph (with our iPads) the statues that we found on the centre strip of Ballarat’s main road. We also used the free Wi-Fi to research some of the statues we investigated.

Beautiful spring weather

I know its not necessarily unique to Glen Park but we really enjoyed the last few days of glorious spring weather and our fantastic school site means we have a lovely, tranquil and safe outside learning and play space for the kids to enjoy.

External review completed.

Glen Park completed its four yearly external review with flying colors. This week we finished the last day of our review. We had a two day inspection and wide ranging discussion based on our self-evaluation encompassing all that we have done at Glen Park over the last 4 years.

Busy in the break

Lots of work inside and outside has been completed these holidays. One big job that was done, while we had some sunny weather was adding some new soft-fall under our playground equipment and filling up our sand pit (Where does all the sand go?) We also weeded and mulched our veggie garden ready for spring.

Visit from an Echidna
